Payroll and Finance Administrator Introduction:

Due to a internal promotion are now looking to recruit an experienced Payroll and Finance Administrator to join our team based at Woodbank Hotel, Aberdeen

Woodbank is Shell Upstream in the UK's own hotel, conference and leisure facility in Aberdeen, set in extensive grounds on Royal Deeside it is located 2 miles only from the city centre and 6 miles from Aberdeen's international airport. Woodbank has 22 well appointed, double occupancy bedrooms, all refurbished in the last 3 years. Rooms have ensuite shower, direct dial telephone, robe & slippers, coffee/tea making facilities and free broadband internet. The hotel facilities include an attractive and relaxing bar and restaurant - with a first class reputation for food and service - as well as a modern fitness room, badminton courts, tennis courts, sauna, steam room and children's play area

Payroll and Finance Administrator Main Duties Include:

·Process payroll efficiently

·First point of contact for payroll related queries

·Support the site GSM and Deputy with any admin tasks

·Process invoices and daily banking on EProphit

·Duty Management cover for the hotel

Payroll and Finance Administrator Responsibilities Include:

·Co-ordinate and process weekly payroll with high level of accuracy

·Record and monitor employee absence records and ensure correct information and documentations is completed

·Set up new employees on the system, process leavers

·Issue induction packs

·Create ad-hoc reports from HR & Payroll system as required.

·Process all pay related paperwork whilst liaising with the central payroll department.

·Provide and verify employment references as required.

·Administer annual processes including but not limited to bonus, engagement survey and pay reviews.

·Admin support to the HR department in recruitment processes, contracts, disciplinary, grievances etc.

·Support employee relations cases through note taking.

·Produce Management Information reports

·Admin support to GSM and Deputy GSM as required

·Process invoices and daily banking, investigate discrepancies

·Duty Management cover

The ideal Payroll and Finance Administrator:

·Previous experience working in a fast-paced payroll, finance or administration team

·Previous generalist experience at a similar level and ideally hold or be working towards a CIPD qualification.

·Good numerical skills

·Demonstrate passion and energy, taking ownership to resolve HR, finance & payroll queries in a positive manner

·Discreet and confidential

·Excellent record of punctuality and attendance

·Excellent time management and organisation skills

·Exceptional communication skills and able to build rapport and relationships quickly

·Ensure you are always acting as a team player, seeking out opportunities to support your colleagues and maintain standards.

·Ability to use own initiative and have a self-motivated approach to work.

·Able to use all key Microsoft office programs

Desirable:

·Previous experience working with SAP system is desirable but not essential
