SharePoint Administrator / Office 365

SharePoint Administrator with Office 365 experience working required to join a Global Shipping company based in the West End.

The SharePoint Administrator responsibilities are as follows:

Job requirements:
  • Design, build and deploy sites and solutions within SharePoint Online using the Modern UI
  • Run discovery and training sessions with stakeholders and document their requirements
  • Support the Applications Manager with deployment during system upgrades for production services
  • Ability to take ownership and become the subject matter expert for various parts of the stack
  • Work closely with the Applications Manager to establish and document best practice guidelines
  • Oversee and assist Site Owners with light customisation of their TeamSites
  • Assist with and run migration activities such as mapping, metadata tagging and scheduling using Share Gate
  • You will be required to, define, design, develop, deploy, and support O365 solutions using
  • SharePoint
  • O365 Groups
  • Planner
  • Flow
  • Power Bi
  • Power Apps
  • Outlook
  • One Drive for Business

Skills Qualifications and Experience
  • Formal qualifications from Microsoft or University would be and advantage, but not essential.
  • 3-5years experience working with O365
  • Excellent problem solving, planning and analytical skills.
  • Extensive experience of managing queries and problems
  • Experience of working with complex Information Architecture
  • Strong communications skills with a demonstrable ability to interact and influence at all levels within the organization
  • Experience of PoSh Scripting language
  • Good working knowledge of Networking related to the web such as proxies, https, etc
  • Understanding of Infrastructure/Server components
  • Experience of managing, owning and delivering high quality projects to objectives within tight time scales
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Hands-on approach with ability to deliver high quality

Desirable Knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of application integration, testing and working with APIs would be advantageous
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Dynamics 365

Salary: £45000-£50000 plus bonus
