Contracts Manager - Service Renewals - IT Managed Services



£45,000 to £55,000 + Excellent Benefits

One of the UK's leading providers of world-class financial software, e-procurement and bespoke solutions is seeking a Contracts Manager to work within the Service Team delivering a first class service to the Current and Future customer base. Working closely with the Service Delivery Teams and Sales Account Managers the role will be to act as the focal point for all enquires relating to renewal of Service Contracts and renewal of third party contracts and quotations.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

The Contracts Manager will:

•Manage the renewal process for maintenance and managed service contracts, issuing standard contracts.

•Support the negotiation and finalisation of agreements with clients.

•Addressing queries and challenges presented by the clients.

•Support the process of managing and concluding potential disputes in favour of the business unit.

•Processing service sales (consultancy/managed services/maintenance) through internal tools and issuing quotes.

•Produce and maintain forecasting reports and KPI's.

•Ensure services invoices are accurate and raised in a timely manner. Resolve billing queries, using escalation as appropriate. Ensure that all queries are brought to a satisfactory conclusion for both the customer and company.

•Work with members of the Senior Leadership Team and other nominated parties to define, design and deliver an improved contract administration process across services.

•Support the Services Director in management information and contract performance reports.

•Support the Services Director on ad hoc requests.

Essential Skills & Experience

The Contracts Manager will have:

•Previously worked in IT Contract environment. Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be a partner to the business stakeholders.

•Organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects.

•Strong negotiating skills.

•High degree of independence, initiative, decisiveness and creative thinking, as well as a desire to be challenged.

•University Degree (optional).
