What you'll be doing...
  • Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all planning and merchandising activity for all products across luxury furniture, homewares and lifestyle products
  • Work closely with the MD and Production Director to develop the forward strategy for the brands
  • Work with MD and finance to deliver robust 3-5 year strategy and sales/stock plan to support
  • Roll and analyse weekly, monthly and annual performance
  • Take/suggest immediate actions to improve sales, and control stock levels
  • Forecast and measure all retail KPIs and establish targets for the business in line with the budget
  • Issue OTB to production based on sales targets and detailed line planning for each seasonal drop
  • Hold weekly OTB meetings with the key stakeholders
  • Regularly roll WSSIs, Seasonal stock levels and reforecast intake and OTB by cat/sub-cat as required
  • Develop POS and MD plan for the year with the Ecommerce team to protect margin while clearing problem stock
  • Work closely with logistics to forecast and plan inbound and outbound stock units.
  • Ensure stock is managed in the appropriate channels to support retail and house supply - prioritising stock when required
  • Supply - planning and control OTB - working with Group Purchasing as needed for sign off
  • Liaise with the finance team to budget supply
  • Review and implement new planning processes and systems (scope and implementation) to support the growing business
  • Lead, coach and develop a high performing team of merchandisers and planners
  • Report/present to senior management (CCO, CEO, COO, CFO) when required

Key Skills:
  • Planning/Merchandising background within HOMEWARES
  • Experience working within a fast paced merchandising environment at Head of, or Director level
  • Highly organised, and self-motivated with drive and determination to lead multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
  • Proven track record of team development
