LECTURER IN TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION & THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT, POST NO: LC0446P

Salary: Lecturer Scale, points 1-7 i.e. £23,335.00 - £33,254.00 per annum

You will teach, assess and internally verify Technical and Professional qualifications including quantity surveying, construction and civil engineering management subjects on a range of courses from Level 2 to Level 5. You will co-ordinate programmes and be a personal tutor to a number of students.

We are also particularly keen (although not essential) to attract experienced industry professionals with expert technical knowledge and skills, as such if you are an industry professional who has worked for a minimum of 3 years in your vocational area, and is either still working in the industry or has been within the last 18 months then you will receive the following support:

- Teaching Qualification - Diploma in Education and Training (Level 5)

- First 8 Weeks - 18 hours per week of shadowing

- 5 hours per week remission - Until the end of March 2020

We operate a 'Silver Medallist' talent pool scheme whereby candidates who are not successful on this occasion may be considered for a period of up to 3 months for similar positions.
