Robert Half are looking for a Customer Support Accountant to take on a new role in Central Edinburgh. This is a role that provides a great variety of work, providing a unique mix of accounting and customer service. Typical duties will include:

- Helping people who are interested in the company's product, by phone, email and online chat

- Providing expert accountancy advice to clients, and proactively contacting clients who need help

- Assisting the product teams by beta testing new features, and actively suggesting upgrades that could be made to make the clients user experience from an accountancy perspective easier

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will:

- Have an accounting qualification (Accountancy Degree/AAT/CIMA or ACCA) as well as hands on experience in a bookkeeping/varied role which includes Tax expertise (Qualification by experience will also be considered)

- Have a passion for customer service with experience in this (Customer service experience does not need to be accountancy related)

- Be great at explaining complex concepts in a clear and concise way, either verbally or in written communications
