Data Migration Manager
Data Migration Manager - Dynamics 365 - Digital Transformation Data Migration Manager required to join a large global digital transformation with a leading technology company on a long-term assignment. You will be joining during a period of rapid change , where they are set for massive restructuring of their organisational processes. They need a Data Migration Manger to join the team on an initial 6 month contract (likelihood of extension) and oversee a large scale migration. Due to the scope of work involved and the number of business applications involved in the process, it is set to be a long-term contract with the likelihood of extension. They have a number of CRM and ERP business applications globally, all of which are set to undergo a migration over to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Working with the wider business and liaising with external stakeholders, they are looking for someone to be responsible for the definition and execution of the data migration strategy in timely fashion. What will you be doing? * Defining the data migration strategy * Working with external partners to map out requirements for existing data to be migrated * Working globally across multiple functional areas to understand the global impact of the migration * Collaborating with the manager to prepare a data migration plan that is process compliant * Identifying and defining transformation requirements * Co-ordinating the entire migration process, including the design, planning and management The skills you will need? * Data migration lifecycle management experience * Experience working on a global project * Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience * Excellent vendor management skills * Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders * Ability to analyse and proactively monitor the progress of the project * Ability to thrive and deliver in fast paced environments This project will certainly keep you busy for a while and you will be granted the opportunity to make a difference on the global stage.
