What's involved? We are looking to set up a fundraising group in the East Surrey area covering Epsom, Ewell, Mole Valley, Dorking, Tandridge, Redhill, Reigate and Banstead. As a member of a volunteer fundraising group you could be helping to organise and participate in fundraising activities on an occasional or regular basis. You will be encouraged to bring your own ideas for local fundraising events and also to support local fundraising campaigns. You will receive support and guidance from our Community Fundraiser and have an opportunity to meet other like minded people in your area. The amount of time you would need to be available varies depending on the activities of your group. If you would like to join our fundraising group you will liaise with other members of the group to arrange mutually convenient meeting times. The time commitment is usually a couple of hours a month for planning meetings, plus attendance at some of the fundraising activities organised by the group. The money we raise funds the delivery of universal services that include our website and National Dementia Helpline as well as the services we provide locally. It also helps to fund research into care for today and cure for tomorrow, as well as our campaigning work.
