Overview: Leading, supporting and coordinating a team of Technical Specialists to ensure timely, accurate data capture is gathered as well as providing technical support for operation. Promote and maintain Direct Group's vision and strategy. Key Responsibilities: • Database management:- - Maintain and update product feature sets to ensure that they accurately reflect current commodities and product groups - Maintain and update validating features ensuring they accurately reflect product specifications - Ownership for product database accuracy allowing accurate and consistent validation results • Oversee external data capture: - - Maintain manufacturers links by means of regular communication with suppliers and manufacturers • Manage Supplier feeds - Identify range changes and gaps through analysis of claims to data information, population results and cash referral requests - Oversee the creation of new products as they are introduced to the market and also via pre-launch documentation • Team Leader:- - Day to day management of team to ensure the team are achieving performance required to support and maintain the needs of the business • Technical Support:- - Oversee technical support function to ensure the operational handlers have the product information they require to discuss and progress claims effectively - Minimise non validating products by ensuring the validation tool is kept completely up to date and contains accurate information - Manage contact centre referrals through the claims to data process and communication with operational team leaders. Components: • Involvement by encouraging the team to communicate effectively and efficiently • Planning, prioritisation and allocation of staff and work load • Training and development of team • Communicating at all levels • Identify in conjunction with other members of the department areas for enhancement and improvement including but not limited to the validation process and Valid8. • Ensure that Fraud detection and accuracy are promoted into the team • Have knowledge, know where to find and apply Direct Group policies and procedures in order to maintain company and regulatory compliance, including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures and HR policies.
