Bakkavor's Group Services functions are based in Spalding, Lincolnshire with a small number of people working at the Group's Head Office in London. There are around 350 working across functions such as IS, Procurement, Finance, HR, Technical, Marketing and Administration. JOB DETAIL A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the dedicated Group Services IS Team, to implement, support and enhance. Working as part of the Business Systems team, this role will focus on planning applications and associated Supply Chain systems. The role will mainly concentrate in the functional areas of Supply Chain and require capabilities to manage the full project lifecycle (i.e. analyse business requirements, provide solution definition, implementing and enhancing business systems) whilst working to best business practice and within Group standards and policies. The role will also include elements of the strategic direction planning for the development of applications and business processes, as well as providing application support and advice for the end user population. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Ideally 3+ Years' experience of a FMCG / manufacturing & supply chain environments Ideally 3+ Years' experience of planning & Supply Chain Applications Business Analysis capabilities Analytical capabilities to problem solve Personal organisation skills ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES * Complete feasibility study and project definition work including business case to evaluate requirement. Conduct further analysis of detailed business requirements quantifying business value in order to justify business investment * Understand the standard applications in your area of specialism deployed at each business unit. Ensure that the standard template defining the application (data standards; business process; performance standards; software standards; software versions, training and support material) is documented, maintained, up to date and meets the needs of the business * Give guidance on resource requirements for work requests and projects. Co-ordinate and manage any work requests/projects. Manage the execution of work request, on time, within budget in accordance with well-constructed and maintained project plans, ensuring that full communications are maintained throughout the project and that the intended business requirements are delivered.
