Requisition/Vacancy No.: 222555BR Job Category: Program and Project Management Job Summary: Job Duties: * Lead Multi Discipline Design Team (MDDT) commissions, taking responsibility for their succesful delivery. * Provide oversight Line Management to Discipline Team Leaders, including Senior Mechanical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Senior Architectual Lead, Senior C+S Engineer * Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time * General line management responsibilities are effectively discharged and the Design Team is led effectively * Strong relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional team * Business development opportunities with existing and new clients are identified and acted upon, including cross-selling opportunities * Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (New and Existing) supported by the Director * Provide Leadership within the MDDT and provide leadership and mentoring to the team * Ensure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training * Manage the delivery of outputs, in accordance with agreed time-scales and quality standards * Co-ordination and sign off on all management information produced by MDDT prior to issue * To 'win' clients through strong business development skills * Management of tender documents, appraisals and negotiations working along with Department Head and Director Business Line: Buildings & Places Position Title: Design Team Manager Position Status: Full-Time What We Offer: When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future. Minimum Requirements: * Defence, Public Authority, Health, Education, Commercial, Residential, Hotels and Leisure * Experience in a Client Management role - able to manage the account in terms of projects that are 'live', while seeking new opportunities * Experience as a manager in a comparative business Preferred Qualifications: * Professionally Qualified - ideally Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Architectural Degree * Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution * Prince 2 or MSP experience * Good understanding of contracts * CSCS card * UK National - Security Clearance will be required if succesful * Driving Licence * NEC3 Experienced Your benefits will include: Helping our employees achieve a healthy work-life balance is important to us.
