You will be commercially astute with the ability to assess and quantify real risk associated with bids. You will be at the forefront of discussions with varied stakeholders, challenging the status quo and influential in strategy formulation / implementation. You will be comfortable with bringing a level of gravitas to dealing with ambiguity, focussed on business outcomes whilst consistently delivering on business obligations. Adapting to cultural and relational considerations, you will lead development and maintenance of good, trusted stakeholder relationships.This role will play a critical role in achieving ambitious growth targets in our Financials Services business unit by ensuring that we deliver winning bids in a timely and cost-effectively manner. What you'll be doingThe Bid Manager is typically responsible for managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award. Responsibilities include ensuring all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes are followed. Other responsibilities include bid writing, bid finances and pricing, proof-reading, assisting Pre-Sales and Sales teams with the coordination of bid responses, handling customer procurement e-portals and generating and maintaining collateral bid data. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines with varied stakeholders.
