For more information: .Salary: £60,000 to £80,000pa depending on experience.Plus car allowance and comprehensive reward and benefits package.Purpose: Collaborates within a matrix organisation in order to develop customer centric digital health innovation strategies and tactics aligned to corporate and brand objectives in agreement with Brand Leads. Pioneers novel digital approaches appropriate to Brand and customer objectives that will in turn give Daiichi Sankyo a competitive advantage. Gathers and acts upon insights in order to generate efficiencies within the healthcare system, with the NHS Collaboration Manager, working in close partnership with customers, the NHS and patient organisations.Accountabilities and MeasurementsDevelop customer centric digital health innovation strategies and tactics aligned to corporate and brand objectives.
Collaborates with Commercial Director and Brand Manager to develop customer centric digital health innovation strategies and tactics aligned to corporate and brand objectives within the framework of the UK and European planning process.Ensures planned digital activities and expenditure is clearly linked and aligned with brand strategy and European direction.Digital programmes and tactics set clear expectations, objectives and key performance indicators.Project implementation is proactively evaluated and variances are highlighted to stakeholders with appropriate recommendations.Collaborates throughout the organisation to ensure an integrated and appropriate promotional mix.Tactics are defined that enable both a physical and virtual presence as appropriate.Innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit is evident throughout all digital project implementation.Seeks out both customer and patient insight to inform decision making and makes recommendations to Brand Manager where new innovative opportunities are discovered.Regularly engages with key customers and appropriate customer groups to gain insight and drive business objectives.Maintains an accurate picture of budget status across all digital projects.Identifies digital opportunities to stimulate customer centric innovation throughout the sales team.Regularly and frequently dedicates time to driving fresh and innovative thinking to refine and evolve strategy, focussed on maximising profitability for the organisation and benefit for the NHS and patients. Together with the NHS Collaboration Manager, working in partnership with customers, the NHS and Patient organisations, generate efficiencies in the healthcare system.
Proactively seeks to add value to the NHS by identifying digital opportunities to drive continuous improvements. Proactively develops professional network with key stakeholders across the NHS and patient organisations and uses these relationships to drive performance and add value. All relevant internal and external stakeholders are engaged, resulting in exceptional insight driving the development, implementation and evaluation of our digital innovation plans and individual tactics.Takes responsibility for leading key digital innovation projects as agreed with line manager across multi-disciplinary teams through effective project management skills.Maintain expertise of current best practice in the field of digital marketing and communication in order to enable effective decision-making.
Maintains expert knowledge and opinion of the relevant current and developing market environments.Maintains expert knowledge of current best practice in the field of digital marketing and communication. Proactively seeks opportunities to drive levels of digital innovation throughout the marketing team and the NHS.Maintains expert and up to date product and therapy area knowledge including clinical data for relevant product portfolio. Maintains a good understanding of relevant competitor marketing and promotional activities so that appropriate counter digital tactics can be developed.Project Management ExpertiseUtilises latest project management technology software and techniques in order to achieve outstanding project outcomes.Provides coaching and mentoring support for colleagues in the business who may benefit from their own experience and expertise in project management.
Annotates key insights from each project.Shares with the organisation through a variety of communication platform.Takes learns forward to the next project with the aim of continuously improving process and outcomes.Technical/Professional Knowledge:EssentialSignificant experience of identifying digital opportunities to deliver customer centric innovation.Demonstrable success across a wide variety of communication channels, in particular integrated digital platforms. Significant experience of brand management across a range of brands and customer groups.Previous success of influencing and leading teams without direct line management responsibility.Full driving licence and ability to travel throughout the UK, and on occasion within Europe.Advanced team working, communication, engagement and presentation skills. Degree level education (or equivalent), preferably life sciences.
Desirable CIM qualified. ABPI qualified. Experience of working in the relevant therapeutic market(s). Previous responsibility for multiple brands at the same time and the need for portfolio planning and investment decisions.Experience of working closely with senior leaders within the NHS.
