Applications Manager - About the role.

Applications Manager required for a not-for-profit organisation who are expanding their portfolio of services across the North West. The Applications Manager is a key role within the business and will involve managing the group wide implementation of all new systems and business application systems, improvements to processes, operating practices and procedures enabling effective service delivery.

It will also involve managing Data conversion, migrations, integration, testing and managing all aspects of existing ICT business applications.

Applications Manager - Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manager Implementation and optimisation of the Aareon QL system to obtain optimum return on investment and business process efficiency.
  2. Ensure the Reengineering business processes through the development of in-house software solutions.
  3. Managing the group wide implementation of all new systems and applications
  4. Data conversion, migration, integration, security issues, and all aspects of ICT business applications
  5. Manage the Applications Support and Database Administration teams
  6. Actively develop and manager stakeholder relationships, promoting change, innovation, continuous improvement and managing risk
  7. Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are developed, written and communicated, alongside compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks
  8. Ensure process reviews, process maps are carried out within the team, contribute to resource planning within the IT department.

Applications Manager - Benefits:
  • Basic salary up to £48k depending on experience

Successful candidates will have some experience working with QL Housing Management System ( HMS) and good management experience.

You will be passionate about service delivery and keen to bring your own ideas to the team / organisation.

The role is based in their Merseyside office and will involve some occasional travel to another local office.

The role is initially offered on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with significant possibility of a perm role thereafter.
