Acteon Group is a global subsea services business which operates across the complete offshore field life cycle from exploration to abandonment as well as in the marine construction and renewables sectors. Headquartered in Norwich.

Today, Acteon delivers its services through a diverse group of market-leading individual branded operating companies (OpCos) focused on risers, moorings, foundations, data, survey and monitoring and project services. The combined strength of the Group enables Acteon to be involved in projects in most of the world's prime exploration and production arenas.

As a result we are looking for a Group Accountant to join our Group Finance team based in our Norwich, UK head office. Some of the key roles will be to assist with -
  • Preparing timely, accurate and reliable management information for the Group
  • Deliver accounting and reporting for centrally-managed holding and financing companies
  • Analyse reporting submissions from Acteon companies
  • Support the Group Financial Accountant with the statutory and treasury requirements for the Acteon Group
Required Skills
  • A newly qualified or part-qualified, process driven and commercially focussed accountant.
  • Comfortable being a key part of a small, high-quality head office finance team.
  • Professional and confident operating in a corporate office environment which includes interaction with Board members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and influence across a culturally diverse de-centralised international business.
  • Strong organisational skills, with ability to plan, prioritise and work to deadlines.
  • Highly numerate and literate with strong analytic skills.
  • Demonstrates a curiosity about the wider business, with a desire to challenge existing practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepared to travel in the UK and internationally.
