Job Purpose: Supporting a female who sustained a traumatic brain injury in 2015. Our client lives independently in Northampton and has a full therapy team consisting of Physiotherapy, Neuropsychology and Occupational Therapy.

She requires 1:1 support to implement therapy guidelines, to provide support with activities of daily living, social activities and to assist managing appointments and correspondence.

Hours of work: Support will start one day per week for 4 - 6 hours building up to 3 to 4 full days per week (days are flexible; however, morning shifts are preferred).

Essential candidate criteria:
  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous experience working in the community with people who have a brain injury
  • Experience of implementing a rehabilitation plan under supervision
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Promoting independence and wellbeing
  • Physically active
  • Positive and friendly personality
  • Gentle and discreet approach
  • Live locally (Northampton or nearby areas)
  • IT competent

Desirable candidate criteria:
  • Previous experience working with Case Managers and Multi-Disciplinary Teams
  • A genuine interest in gardening, theatre and music
  • Comfortable with dogs
