Pro-actively manage a defined portfolio of key clients, with the aim of improving the client experience, strengthening client relationships and increasing client retention

  • To deliver an excellent client experience and improve client retention
  • To ensure stronger relationships between ADP and the clients across your portfolio
  • To create strong, multi-level business to business engagements between ADP and it's clients
  • To drive increased engagement with decision makers within the client business
  • To provide the client contacts with Thought Leadership

  • Personally manage the relationship with your client portfolio through regular face to face meetings
  • Build a thorough understanding of the client account through regular review and analysis documented on the Account Plan
  • Understand the clients business goals and growth strategy and alignment of ADP solutions as appropriate
  • Engagement with client mobilizers and decision makers
  • Identify revenue opportunities and work with the various departments to bring to fruition
  • Drive engagement with different operational teams to improve client experience
  • Act as a conduit/facilitator between the Client and internal ADP departments
  • Always seeking best practice and continuous improvement
  • Liaise with relevant parties on root cause analysis, generating and implementing continuous improvement plans to ensure corrective actions/service improvements are seen through to completion
  • Review client experience, retention and improvements against NPS
  • Contract management, negotiation and associated queries
  • Control of aged debtors and account resolution
  • Develop an effective working relationships with the relevant Heads of Departments, Team Managers and their direct reports
  • Leadership of projects as directed by the team manager
  • Perform other duties as required and as the Business dictates
  • Drive open and honest communication
  • Tracking own performance against set goals, focus on delivering and exceeding goals
  • Manage the team inbox and provide support to our clients and other ADP Departments.
  • Develop and drive own PDP

  • Reports to the Account Management Team Manager with no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Will be expected to be self-motivated and work under own initiative for day to day tasks in line with overall management guidance.


Skills required:
  • Previous Account Management experience of engaging at a senior level
  • Must be able to demonstrate strategic thinking and commercial awareness
  • Professional approach in both attitude and personal presentation are essential
  • First class oral and written communication skills
  • Customer focused with stress tolerance and flexibility to ensure delivery in a high profile service environment
  • Ability to establish mutual, trusting and professional relationships
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Personal drive to deliver results and meet objectives
  • Good judgement and decision making skills

Knowledge required:
  • Prior knowledge of Account Management
  • Knowledge of HR & Payroll drivers and processes is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Net Promoter System is an advantage
  • Good understanding of payroll legislation and working practices within a bureau environment is desirable.
