You will be responsible for leading a team of Sales & Margin Analysis, who provide Insight and Reporting for the Contract channel. The ideal candidate will have an ability to manage, create, present/communicate insightful analysis and /or tools that add value to the business.

What are the responsibilities of the Commercial Finance Manager?

- To lead their team effectively by promoting and encouraging individual participation, ensuring constructive feedback is regular given. Ensures that performance is monitored and ties into the overall goals and objectives set for the team, taking corrective action where necessary to re-adjust actions or goals

- Provide accurate and timely financial information, including AOPs, forecasts and actuals

- To ensure the control environment is robust and regulatory requirements are met

- To interpret financial information and disseminate into the business across all functions

- To partner with functional heads to track, trace and report on initiatives and performance and to provide quality finance support to those functions

- Provide future oriented thinking to minimise potential problems and take decisive and corrective action where necessary. Detailed trend analysis and insight to track and measure performance

- Sales/margin reporting and variance analysis

- Sales associate performance reporting to facilitate commission calculation

- Weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts

- Annual budgets

- Target setting and maintenance

- Continuous improvement of reporting processes

Skills and experience required to be our Commercial Finance Manager:

- Accounting qualifications: ACA; CIMA; ACCA or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years Finance / Accounting Management experience

- Advanced MS Excel and knowledge of SAP BW

- Strong analytical skills with good understanding of IT applications

- A quick learner, who is able to apply business understanding in analysis and problem-solving

- A team player who can develop constructive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders

- Comfortable consolidating, reporting and analysing large quantities of information or datasets

- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
