Becoming an Employee & Payroll Support Team Leader with Capita Employee Solutions:

To lead, manage and develop a team providing a range of HR Administration services for our clients spanning tier one payroll and employee support queries. Working as a key member of the team in the delivering the service, the Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the quality of the output and meeting service specifications. The Service Centre delivers a high volume of HR and Payroll transactional services and administers HR enquiry help lines and email inboxes. Working as Team Leader managing the Employee & Payroll Support team, you will have daily interaction with the client, its employees and external vendors. Responsibilities are varied but focus on providing customer service and administration support within agreed timescales and service level agreements.

What you'll be doing:
  • Responsible for providing a high-quality HR service and develop an effective working relationship with our client to bring benefit to both client and Capita
  • Effectively manage service issues/failures and take appropriate corrective action to minimise risk of re-occurrence
  • Assign work to team members, monitor and supervise the day-to-day delivery and quality standards of the work
  • Meet with team members individually on a monthly basis to review performance, provide constructive feedback and identify and agree on future objectives, assessing against the competency framework
  • Monitor team performance against expectations and Service Level Agreements
  • Review own performance against competency framework and identify own development needs
  • Responsible to ensure team compliance to Capita and client service standards, Code of Conduct, Information Security Policies and Procedures, and Client Confidentiality

What we're looking for:
  • Proven track record in managing a client account and supporting a team to provide a superior level of professional customer service
  • Previous experience in a supervisory position where responsibilities included operational and people supervision of a team
  • Experience in monitoring, collating and preparing MI data and analysis against Service Level Agreements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant employment legislation and experience applying it practically in the workplace
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clear and concise language verbally and with written correspondence
  • Demonstrated ability and intermediate knowledge of various computer programmes including Word, Excel and Outlook and experience using HR information management systems
