Job title: Account Manager

Department: Client Services

Main purpose of the role:

To manage agreed Client Accounts, develop and grow these clients by increasing both turnover and profitability. Maintaining a watching brief as these projects move through the business to completion.

Responsible to:Head of Client Services

Key tasks

□ Work to Head of Client Services instructions as well as on your own initiative, following company procedures at all times.

□ Develop and grow Client accounts working to Head of Client Services instruction as well as on your own initiative, being proactive with clients, ensuring that they are fully aware of the range of services offered by the company, continually looking for further opportunities.

□ Contact prospect clients and follow up on leads to generate new business

□ Complete detailed accurate quotes in line with the company's agreed pricing structure.

□ Source stock on behalf of Client, working to the company sustainable procurement policy always.

□ Communicate with the Client on a continual & regular basis by telephone, e-mail and site visits.

□ Attend various events including networking meetings, and events managed on behalf of Clients.

□ Day today prioritisation and management of workload of agreed Client Accounts.

□ Create and maintain job briefs with samples/full instructions and monitor job progress, ensuring job details are always correct & up to date.

□ Continuously review processes and procedures to ensure all projects are managed & undertaken in the most cost effective and commercially viable way.

□ Ensure accurate stock control and management.

□ Carryout quality checks of all jobs.

□ Ensure Invoices are created according to the procedure within three days of project completion.

□ Supply reports for Clients and Company as required.

□ Ensure that telephones are answered courteously within three rings and that calls are handled immediately & efficiently, and that information is recorded accurately.

□ Understand and adhere to the standards set out in each Client's SLA where applicable.

□ Work with other departments to ensure that priorities and deadlines are met.

□ Always provide client satisfaction.

□ Carry out such additional tasks as may from time to time be reasonably requested
