Are you experienced in payroll? Are you looking for a new challenge that allows you to take ownership of your own processes? If so this is the role for you!

I am working with a growing and dynamic business operating in the global market. With a flat structure, you will have exposure to senior management on a daily basis. Currently with multiple offices in the UK, this company have ambitious expansion plans and look to recruit determined and enthusiastic people to join their hard working team.

This newly created role will see you taking ownership of the payroll processes from start to finish with the use of the company's payroll system. You will work closely with HR surrounding company benefits, new starters and pensions. In addition to this, you will need to ensure the smooth transfer of payroll during acquisition of new business.

Key tasks and objectives

  • Daily management and administration of monthly payroll.
  • Reconciliation of monthly pay and pensions for whole Group.
  • In conjunction with HR, liaise with external contacts and manage renewals.
  • Administer the Company's pensions and Childcare Voucher Scheme.
  • Processing of year end reporting including, collecting and processing data for P60's and P11D's. Liaise as necessary for annual audits.
  • Liaising with system providers regarding any system issues that may arise and required updates to payroll set up, entitlements and annual plans.
  • Posting of payroll transactions to the accounting ledger and monthly reconciliation of payroll related accounting control accounts.

You will have:

  • Proven experience within a payroll, pensions and benefits
  • Working knowledge of payroll/HR systems.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office, specifically excel.
  • Payroll qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work to multiple deadlines at any one time.
  • Strong communicator and the ability to work with people across the business, including external providers.
  • Ability to work autonomously and own the payroll process from start to finish.
  • Flexible approach when key deadlines need to be met.
