Secondary Music Teacher required - November 2019 - Chorley
£110 - £165 per day

This exciting Secondary Music Teacher position available for an initial 12-month role and starting in November 2019 is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable, secondary school in the Chorley area.

Are you passionate about music? As an enthusiastic Music Teacher are you able to engage young people in learning about both music theory as well as modern music sckills such as production?

This Music Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons that challenge and engage learners across a range of abilities.

This Ofsted 'Good' school caters for over 1000 students and is built on a foundation of high expectations of both staff and students. High expectations not only of behaviour and achievement but also that their students act as good role models both inside and outside of the school.

When visited by Ofsted, one inspector commented 'students take pride in the school and this is demonstrated through their high attendance, smart appearance and participation in a wide range of extra curricular activities.'

Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs

To be considered for this English Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the Music curriculum including the new GCSE.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
