JOB SUMMARYThe Job Holder will be responsible for Designing, Implementing and Managing a Global Pumps Upgrades & Re Rates Capabilities Program within the Power & Energy Business to drive Sales & Revenue Growth in the area of technical, hydraulic, performance upgrades to own and competitor High Energy Pumps products. The Job Holder will proactively interact with new and existing customers to identify suitable pump applications for Upgrade & Re-Rate opportunities. This includes working with commercial & engineering teams to develop the customer relationships & generate leads, defining and quantifying the technical opportunity, all with the objective to achieve the specified sales and business targets. RESPONSIBILITIES • Designing, Implementing and Managing a Pump Upgrades & Re Rates Capabilities program within the Power & Energy Business• Coordinate and encourage collaboration with internal Design Centre Engineering Teams, External Commercial Teams & Operation team to prepare approach methodology• Direct Presentation of the Technical Advantage and ROI Business Case to Clients Direct as required • Preparation of Technical Quotes & Costings in conjunction Aftermarket Service Operations teams on upgrade / re rate opportunities• In-depth analysis of existing Install base to identify specific opportunities with physical capacity to be adopted / upgraded. Experience in knowing which market / customers / products to target essential• Analysis of Competitor Pump Offerings to identify and design focused upgrades strategies to target specific pump types, applications with aim of incremental revenue growth.• Identify, Define and structure the value proposition for SPX Power & Energy on how to capture & positioning / differentiating factors of our upgrades and re-rates • Support Commercial teams and lead engagement with customers to present ROI Calculation and business case for upgrades to secure opportunitiesEXPERIENCE & SKILLS• Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Fluid Power Technology) and relevant working experience • Thinks creatively and has in-depth engineering knowledge to solve problems and provide technical solutions• Analyzes and interprets common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents• Displays exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, even when handling multiple demands and has a proven track record of meeting high performance standards• Positively establishes relationships across multiple locations and copes well with working remotely from the team and other departments• Communicates fluently (verbal and written) in English - essential, in Arabic - added advantage• Experience in the oil & gas / power & energy / industrial market required• Prior Experience of technical aspects of Upgrade & Re Rate program for High Energy Pumps required• Hydraulic Pump & Application Engineering Experience in API 610 HP Centrifugal Pumps required• Strong knowledge Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
