My client is an exciting family run business who are looking for an Office Manager/Accountant to join the team and help drive the business forward. This role would suit an individual with a strong financial background who also has experience within an operational role.

This an exciting opportunity for an individual to be given the freedom to develop their own ideas and offer innovative concepts to help develop the business.

As an Office Manager/Accountant your duties will include:
  • Overseeing all daily business activities
  • Improving and developing the overall business functions
  • Managing and developing the team
  • Responsibility for aspects of HR and hiring of new employees
  • Provide P&L and budgetary forecasts
  • Prepare the month end and company accounts
  • VAT return production and filing
  • Responsibility for all financial compliance for the business
  • Interpreting and understanding all commercial figures
  • Evaluate the performance and productivity of the business, offering solutions where necessary

As an Office Manager/Accountant you will have the following skills:
  • Educated to Degree level
  • Ideally AAT Qualified (Level 3) or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Previous experience managing business operations
  • Previous knowledge of employment legislation
  • Possess an understanding of financial compliance laws
  • Be innovative and demonstrate initiative
