If so the below opportunity may be of interest, Located in Basingstoke we are now looking to recruit a Finance Assistant. Mears Key Worker Contract provides privately rented accommodation to essential Workers of the British Government. With a prime focus on negotiating Corporate Lets the role involves sourcing accommodation from the open market, working with a third party to ensure properties meet requirements and overcoming objections to ensure tenancies proceed for the dates required.

The Finance Assistant works across various stages of property occupancy and will be trained to work on the process from beginning to end to deliver the Government Key Worker Accommodation Contract. This varied position will include processing of invoices, auditing of payments, arranging payments and ensuring accurate records are maintained. The Finance Assistant Position is a Permanent role working Monday to Friday offering a Salary of £19,000.

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has:
  • Process invoices and receipts to ensure all payment terms are met and penalties are avoided.
  • Deliver an exceptional service ensuring payments due to customers and the client are
  • Provide administrative support to managers to ensure overall business objectives are met
  • Update and maintain written and IT records to evidence outcomes and current status.
  • Conduct data audits as requested by manager and provide reporting highlighting findings
  • Deliver quality reporting as requested by manager, evidencing risk and appropriate actions to resolve.
  • Undertake adhoc projects and provide support and cover for colleagues and other administrator roles within Mears Housing Management
  • Ensure full compliance with Mears code of conduct, contractual terms and group policies & procedures.
