Project Engineering Lead
Our world leading client is looking for a Project Engineering Lead to join their Production Support engineering team in Edinburgh, on a permanent basis. This role requires an individual to lead the product support activities to ensure that the production is executed in an efficient and timely manner. As Project Engineering Lead, within the Production Support team, the successful candidate will be involved in failure investigation and root cause analysis (from SRI to System) and interim production testing and diagnostics, as well as automatic test and isolation improvement. You will maintain material and configuration matrices, integration of new FW & SW functionality, carry out and monitor trend analysis and provide support to QA. As Lead you will guide a team of Production Support engineers in ensuring production is executed in an efficient and timely manner. Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required In order to be considered for this role you will have previous experience working within a similar electronics role and level. You will ideally have a first or second Degree in Electronic Engineering (BSc, BEng, MEng, MSc, PhD, EngD) or related science ( Physics). You will ideally have experience in one or more of following areas to support the Raven Corrective Action Team(s) across LRU's to drive EN resolution: *Interim production testing *Diagnostics, automatic test & isolation improvement *Failure investigation and root cause analysis (from SRI to System) *Margining & process control (SRI) *Trend analysis and support to QA *Maintain material and configuration matrices, integration of new FW & SW functionality and support to DAs and PEL *Obsolescence assessment, design analysis & change proposals *Procurement and vendor PR and query response Operating within a fast-paced environment, you will be able to work to tight deadlines to ensure business objectives are successfully achieved. Note that due to the nature of the tasks involved, you will have to achieve full SC security clearance and may need to satisfy further UK eyes only and ITAR conditions.
