MyCFL are working with the number one technology agency outside of London. They provide a complete range of PR, digital and content services to UK and international leading technology clients in the retail, fintech, enterprise IT and cyber security industries and we currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join their busy team based in Hook, Hampshire.

The Package - What you could earn
  • Salary paying up to £28,000-£34,000 depending on experience

Account Manager - Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • You will take the lead in driving the success of your team's client campaigns by regular client communication and motivational management of the other team members to deliver agreed tactics and the associated results
  • Working with the Account Director, you will clearly understand your clients' objectives and requirements, and translate quick but creative thinking into decisive action; providing team management, delegation of tasks and exceptional media relations skills.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Managing all communication with the client and ensuring deadlines and service agreements are met consistently by the team including guaranteeing that client communications are responded to within 24 hours
  • Ensuring the on-going achievement of all deliverable client objectives
  • Working closely with the client and account director to regularly review account performance and ensuring that all activity and results are reported back to the client in a timely manner
  • Deploying rapid response to breaking news on behalf of clients, reacting quickly to emerging stories in line with client profiles
  • Acting as a respected line manager, working closely with line reports to maximise strengths, improve weaknesses and support career development
  • Line manage the Junior Account Executive and Account Executive, including coaching, supervision, assessment and review of junior team members
  • Sets team objectives on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Commercially aware and maintains up to date knowledge of trends in the technology PR and marketing sectors, and/or areas of specialism, and adds value to the business and our clients
  • Works as a team by encouraging cooperation, collaboration and partnerships with colleagues, clients, peers and team and shares knowledge, skills and expertise with colleagues
  • Is straightforward, communicates honestly and frankly and ensures interactions with clients, colleagues and peers is clear and consultative
  • Builds trust with clients, colleagues and peers through sound decision-making and by sharing knowledge and skills in area of expertise
  • Is responsive to often multiple requests from clients, colleagues and peers by reacting quickly and positively. Takes initiative to make improvements and deliver results

  • Supports and positively encourages clients, colleagues and peers to achieve individual, team and company goals and measures outcomes that deliver results
