Sales Account Manager

Location: Central Manchester

Salary: £22,000 - £30,000 plus bonus

Are you a confident Account manager with a background in selling IT infrastructure products and telecommunication solutions? Do you have a strong track-record in maintaining customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities?

You will be joining a dynamic Communication Solution business which has a market leading portfolio of solutions. The client is one of the UK's fastest growing connectivity and internet infrastructure providers and whose three core products include Connectivity, VoIP and Security.

The business specialises within a niche industry and now has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Account Manager to join their team to manage a portfolio of existing key accounts and develop new sales leads.

Responsibilities

·Create and maintain productive, fruitful business relationships with key clients.

·Identify and develop new business opportunities from sales leads generated through the business.

·Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the business' product portfolio as well as awareness of new products in the market

·Identify a customer's need and sell into their requirement, demonstrating a consultative approach.

·Proactively challenge the business way of working to help develop and drive positive change throughout the business and within the customer partnership

·Telecommunications background is essential.

Requirements

·2 years B2B sales experience, confident dealing with C-level executives

·Excellent negotiation and communication skills with commercial awareness

·An ambitious mind-set with ability to generate new, implementable ideas

·Capability to work both within a team and independently with little supervision if required

·A proactive approach with ability to use initiative and manage without authority

·Comfortable prospecting new business.

·Any knowledge of VOIP, VPN, fixed wireless and cloud services would be highly advantageous
