Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a larger than average Primary school in Bournemouth. This diverse, 3 form entry primary school, are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work as a behaviour buddy with a handful of children across the Early Years, KS1 and KS2. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deal effectively with challenging behaviour whilst working closely with a number of children with a variety of specific needs. To be considered for this post, you will have experience working with children with SEN and behavioural issues and will have the ability to build strong working relationships and implement creative techniques to monitor and assess behaviour.

This is a 'GOOD' primary school which is praised for its 'inclusive' nature and its ability to assist children with identified learning needs. The school are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who has the skills and experience to guide its children through the summer term!

This post is to start in October and will run up until the end of the academic year. Only candidates with experience supporting children with special educational needs or challenging behaviour in an educational setting will be considered.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have experience supporting children with identified needs
  • Be able to build strong working relationships with children and staff
  • Be looking to develop a career in education
