Patient & Brand Communications comprises the OPEN Health disciplines of patient engagement, health technology, market insight, public relations and healthcare branding.

The expertise and heritage of three long-standing OPEN Health operating companies have been brought together to form a multi-channel, multi-skilled healthcare communications agency with patient outcomes at the heart.

Brand Communications:

As part of the Patient & Brand Communications team, you'll be responsible for the following activities:
·Ensure the delivery of a high quality patient services and products through a variety of methods

·Handover management and leadership of large, cross-functional patient projects across OPEN Health

·Direct management of bespoke, complex patient projects e.g. patient journey mapping, Patient Support Programmes (PSP), design and co-creation of patient materials, advocacy engagement

·Oversee programmes for each client, ranging from strategic input to day-to-day management of tactics (based on the specific needs for each account)

·Obtain a thorough understanding of clients' business objectives, patient-related strategies and relevant therapeutic areas. Clear communication of these to internal team members, as relevant

·Manage and influence senior-level client contacts and maintain positive working relationships; work proactively to identify new business opportunities by networking and researching within existing client companies

·Highlight key issues to the Managing Director, Patient Engagement regarding key accounts and the account team

·Contribute to and, where appropriate, lead, patient-centric pitches

·Ensure optimal financial management of each account and demonstrate a clear understanding of all financial processes within the business

·Monitor forecast and plans in conjunction with Patient Engagement team to ensure business objectives are met, on time and within budget; escalate issues to Managing Director, if required

·Ensure understanding and implementation of all OPEN Health internal procedures and quality standards across all account team members

·Ensure all account team members take ownership for their business and appropriate levels of responsibility

·Collaborate effectively and efficiently with appropriate members of the OPEN Health teams across all practices

·Line management and training/development responsibility, where appropriate

What you'll bring:
·Ability to work with client and agency staff on a day to day project management basis both independently and as part of the team

·Strong understanding of the healthcare environment and, ideally the patient space, gained through significant experience in healthcare agency, consultancy, CRO or pharmaceutical company roles

·Approachable hands-on manager, trainer, delegator with strong leadership skills

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distil complex information and produce simple, compelling solutions

·Financial acumen

·Ability to multitask and prioritise; excellent time and project management skills

·Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

·Attention to detail

·Able to create relationships with colleagues in other practices across OPEN Health

·Competent in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

·Degree qualified, ideally within life sciences to a Bachelors or post graduate level
