Futures Recruitment Services are recruiting for their clients who are a global brand in the financial services sector. An amazing opportunity has arisen to join the Employee Engagement team.

The team is a place to enable and promote engaging employee events, experiences and best practices, with the ambition of supporting engaged and connected employees who embody the groups values.

As the Events Manager on the employee engagement team, you will be responsible for creating a programme of engaging employee event for our 950+ employees across the multiple jurisdictions, to sustain the unique culture and enhance the employee experience the client provides. Your role will be essential to the successful design and delivery of a multitude of employee events, including but not limited to the flagship employee engagement event, Christmas Parties and quarterly events and the management and leadership events.

Key Responsibilities for the Event and Employee Engagement Manager:
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of key employee engagement events, including to the flagship summer event, Leadership days, Management days and Christmas parties across the key jurisdiction, delivering events to an exceptional standard, in line with the groups' alternative approach.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, including our executive and people committees, to establish clear objectives and KPIs, prepare budgets and provide periodic status reports, keeping track of finances, invoicing and reporting for all of the groups' events.
  • Provide events expertise and guidance to various stakeholders across the business, including client-facing teams, support teams and sports and social committees to ensure you deliver all events to the usual high standard, in-line with the company's risk framework and bright alternative approach.
  • Assist with all other aspects of the event administration including, but not limited to, internal and external communications, registration management, logistics and on-site event set up and event management.
  • Travel to other venues, work closely with our client-facing and support teams to ensure a consistent approach and delivery of employee events and the overall framework.

Expertise desired for the Business Development and Marketing Executive role:
  • 5 + years of events experience is essential, ideally employee/internal events, supported by relevant qualifications.
  • Creativity and a passion for creating engaging events is a must
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Project planning and event management
  • Financial and commercial knowledge to manage and report on event budgets.
  • A keen interest in people with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work closely and effectively with a diverse group of people and to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships.
  • Track record in the creation and implementation of effective multijurisdictional events

Frequent travel to other locations will be required!
