Supply Teaching is an exciting and varied teaching role where you will get to work with different schools and teams, working across a variety of subjects. You'll get to build up best practices from your experience as well as using your own experience to deliver an engaging experience for students.

Working full-time or part-time, this is a flexible role that will fit in around your lifestyle and commitments. While supply teaching is traditionally day to day cover, there are opportunities for short and long-term roles and permanent opportunities dependent on your preferences and your availability.

We work with Primary, Middle, Upper and SEN schools across Bedfordshire and the responsibility of a Supply Teacher is to deliver the assigned lesson set by the class teacher, making sure that pupils are engaged and learning.

Requirements:
  • Recognised Teaching Qualification, PGCE or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a UK classroom, teaching to the national curriculum.
  • Flexible approach, able to adapt quickly to a new school environment.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Able to get to local schools in the morning, sometimes with short notice.

Supply Teachers come from a variety of backgrounds, ideally, we are looking for educational professionals who have formal teaching qualifications and experience. You will have a specialism but will be able to adapt to teach a variety of subjects from prepared lesson plans.

Additional Requirements:
  • Current DBS registered with the Online DBS Update Service, or a DBS check through our own clearance procedures.
  • 2 professional references will be requested as part of the registration process.

Teach Agency is committed to offering a professional service to both our staff and the schools we work with. All staff will be expected to meet our supply standards and to ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of the children. All offers of employment are based on a valid DBS and two satisfactory professional references.

In exchange for this you will be working with a dedicated consultant, committed to getting you work when you are available. We pay weekly and offer competitive rates.
