£17,000 to £19,500 dependant on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join in a fast-growing company with an innovative approach to delivering Recruitment Solutions and Skills Support Training and Development.

Working as part of the finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager, the main purpose of the role is to assist in the management of the purchase and sales ledger, payroll and associated activities.

Main Duties

·Check and process sales and purchase invoices;

·Credit Control;

·Reconcile supplier statements;

·Be involved in VAT returns;

·Process payroll;

·Process amendments in line with organisation policy and audit requirements;

·To carry out quality checks, verifying the accuracy of information and resolving errors as required;

·Maintain the integrity financial information in line with confidentiality and Data Protection requirements at all times;

·Manage and monitor your own workload and report against targets to the Finance Manager.

Essential Criteria

·Experience in a similar role, with experience in both accounts payable and receivable processes, procedures, payroll and credit control;

·Attention to detail;

·Experience of accurate and efficient data input;

·Proven experience of providing excellent customer care with the ability to maintain this during pressurised periods of work;

·Ability to work in a team and establish good working relationships with others;

Annual Leave

25 days annual leave plus statutory entitlement. 3 days leave required for Xmas closure for staff
