The Account Manager must be a dedicated individual who highly organised and meticulous with a proven track record of being a team player as well as autonomous. The role includes retention and growth of existing accounts through cross selling & up-selling by maintaining strong client relationships. This involves consultative selling whereby the candidate can effectively demonstrate the full range of Optimity's product suite to the customer to ensure the client receives the most effective solution for their business needs. A strong technical background is preferred as you will be engaging with IT & operations teams on a daily basis offering a portfolio of connectivity, IT solutions and communications. The ability to meet and exceed expectations within strict deadlines is essential so proven experience of strategic planning and previous account management is crucial. Account Management involves ensuring the clients expectations are met therefore the individual will work closely with project management, sales support and many other departments to ensure continuous business relationships.

  • Service multiple clients concurrently within strict time frames to achieve business goals
  • Generating and identifying sales among existing client accounts through up-selling and cross-selling
  • Discovery and creation of quotes and proposals through phone, email & meetings
  • Operate as the main point of contact for your client portfolio
  • Build continuous business relationships and develop them through consistent contact
  • Ensure the clients' needs are met through timely and effective delivery of Optimity's solutions
  • Effective forecasting and client account tracking through use of CRM
  • Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
  • Assist in implementation of marketing campaigns to develop strong product branding through collaboration of departments
  • Renegotiating existing contracts and renewals to maintain existing business
  • Prepare and conduct presentations and sales displays - when required.
  • Develop and measure personal business goals and ensure they are met

  • 3 years' working as an Account Manager on ISP/MSP sales
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain customer relationships
  • Initiative, flexibility and creativity to solve tough problems
  • 1+ years of technology industry knowledge and current developments or an ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle pressure and hit monthly sales targets consistently
  • Excellent time management and organisation - with the ability to triage and prioritise all obligations
  • Previous experience of Account Management
  • Be a team player.
