As a result of our client's continued growth, we are now searching for an exceptional Account Manager with a proven track record, who has a genuine interest in the world of digital/new media. Our ideal candidate at this stage in their career will be someone for whom immediate rapport building is done quickly and effectively, by establishing and maintaining strong business relationships. You will have the necessary skills to quickly learn and apply yourself and will be someone who has demonstrable experience of proactively retaining and developing client portfolios. You will have to date succeeded in a competitive and dynamic environment by delivering beyond the minimum requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and retaining your portfolio of clients to an established KPI retention rate of 80%, in addition to identifying additional revenue streams to increase the order value from each client
  • Introduce additional products/services to your clients, thereby increasing the revenue opportunity within each client's portfolio
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the financial status including value and contract renewal of the clients within your portfolio
  • Interact closely with various departments ensuring you are fully and correctly briefed in all aspects of each campaign
  • Monitor and analyse performance data and the ongoing strategy on a monthly basis throughout the duration of each campaign
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder's expectations
  • Ensure that all relevant details of communication with every client is logged via the internal CRM system
  • Travel to meet clients will occasionally be required


We would like to hear from candidates who:
  • Have demonstrable experience of managing client accounts with varying portfolio size
  • Are articulate with strong spoken and written English skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Are IT literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and the internet
  • Are organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your own workload
  • Are able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, using high levels of initiative to deliver results and achieve deadlines to the required standard
  • Strives to exceed KPIs
  • Provide exceptional levels of customer service at all times, ensuring internal and external requirements are met to the required quality standards, to time and within budget
  • Experience within the digital marketing industry would be beneficial, as well as having worked in an agency environment, although this is not essential.
  • Have a full clean driving licence, as travel will be required
