Due to ongoing growth our client is looking to employ a full time Retail Assistant to join the busy team. The Retail Assistant will act as liaison to customers, ensure stock levels are good. The main purpose of the role is to provide exemplary customer service skills and sales-minded attitude.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Meeting and greeting customers as they enter the shop
* Helping customers find what they are looking for in the shop
* Checking stock levels on shop floor and stock room
* Replenishing items as necessary on shop floor
* Ensuring items are orderly and shelves are clean and tidy
* Checking for out of date stock daily
* Creating lists of items to be ordered
* Checking in orders with manager
* Checking dates of stock coming in
* Checking quality of stock coming in
* Serving customers on the till when needed
The ideal candidate will have

* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Excellent time management skills
Experience required
* Previous Retail experience
