About Us:

Apponotec Limited is a family run IT Support and Technology business. We support a wide range of clients across London and Kent, from charitable foundations to commercial enterprises. Our clients are all very different and require a wide range of IT skill sets as well as technical support, advice and guidance on various day to day operational and strategic technology issues.

About you:

An experienced IT professional to help manage our growing support business, you will have experience in 1st line support, resolving client's day-to-day IT issues, offering advice and guidance on improvements to technology infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is proactive, who will identify existing issues with client networks and research and recommend appropriate solutions. You must be able install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot network technology. However, this role calls for more than technical ability. We're looking for motivation, discipline and a natural gift for teamwork.

Summary of Skills and Experience:

Having worked in an IT support role before, you'll already have what it takes. You should have solid expertise in the following key areas:

·MCTS certification is desirable but not essential.

·Experience providing multi-line (1st, 2nd and 3rd) support in a helpdesk-based environment.

·Microsoft platforms:
  • Windows 7, 8, 10,
  • Windows Server 2012, 2016 (including Active Directory)
  • Office 2010, 2013, 2016,
  • Office 365 / Azure AD

·Mobile hardware configuration

·Network and PC hardware
  • Good understanding of core networking principles (DNS, DHCP, Routing, Firewalls)
  • Basic understanding of virtualisation technology

·Logging, reporting and monitoring procedures.

·Hardware and software solutions.

·Excellent communication skills.

·Excellent customer service skills.

·Ensuring tickets and issues are resolved within agreed SLA times.

·Proactively research and recommend new innovations in software and hardware and make recommendations as to their use within the company, or for customers.

·Experience with administration of VoIP telephone systems.

·Possess the technical aptitude with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

·Ability to plan, design and develop new processes and systems that meet strategic business needs.
