Market Job Description: Main function of the job:The role holder will provide mid-level support to the Risk COO team, with the preparation and production of high quality materials, analysis and MI reporting for all relevant projects, governance meetings and regulatory requirements. This person will also be coordinating key risk and pipeline projects across the risk teams and working closely with the Risk Heads in region to ensure all risk projects are adequately scoped and on track. (Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required)Responsibilities:Establish and maintain a strong partnership with Risk Managers, key business contacts and regional managementSupport risk type leads in creation of and maintaining risk reporting and analysis for senior managers, risk committees and board meetings.Provide analytic support across all primary risk types. (including credit, compliance, operation risk, FCRM)Developing strong understanding of financial products and processes in order to support independent risk challenge of Line of Business.Produce senior level presentations packs for boards, committees and working groupsSupport the senior Risk Analysts and develop skill sets to match and coverProvide COO team support on producing value add business, governance, regulatory and ad hoc reporting. This will include acting as a backup to various reporting and data management efforts across the Risk Stripes in regionHelp to develop data management and reporting capabilities to support a global model across the risk stripesActively identify and assist in implementing opportunities and enhancements across reporting processes to achieve 'best in class' approachSupport ad hoc projects and activities as required within Risk COO team
Market Skills and Certifications: Skills/Experience Required:Ability to work in a team as well as to take lead and drive projects, project management skills Industry and business experience of working across multiple teams and stakeholders (Credit, Risk, Finance, Technology, Stress Testing teams, Front Office Business Lines)Proven presentation skills.Analytic skills, ability to manipulate large and complex data sets and create meaningful analysisAbility to interact at all levels, with principle stakeholders and senior managersCore Microsoft skill sets: Advance Excel, PowerPoint and PowerPivot Visio process mappingExperience/Demonstrable adaptability to use in house systems (learning tools)Strong personal motivation, willing to be self-started and flexible in approach
