We have an opportunity for a Progression Co-ordinator to join our team based in our Derby Centre. If you are successful, you will be joining us on a full time basis as part of temporary cover and you will receive a competitive salary of £18,000 - £26,000 per annum + a range of fantastic benefits.

Key responsibilities as our Progression Co-ordinator will include:

- Ensure a planned and professional approach to selling the programme and students to potential businesses and organisations.

- To understand and liaise with your Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP) and other partners who can support with your knowledge and understanding of opportunities for students.

- To use and maintain social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter with success stories and events.

- Ensure all students have a purposeful, individualised learning plan; ensuring appropriate work-experience activities are planned as a key component to the course

- To work with employers to find out what their business needs are and focus matching students to employers.

- Conduct workplace attendance checks/registers.

- Undertake tracking of students who have left programme and provide on-going support

- To collate and monitor feedback from students, employers and stakeholders in relation to work experience, progression, career and IAG and transfer actions into the Centre Improvement Plan.

- To analyse students' soft skills data and transfer areas for improvement into the Centre Improvement Plans.

Essential skills and abilities we're looking for in our Progression Co-ordinator

Essential:

- Level 2 English & Maths - or working at

- To persuade & influence others and deal with conflict/challenging behaviour

- Innovative & solution focused

- To be persistent & tenacious

- To develop others

- To be a Juniper ambassador

- Able to build a rapport with target group but also communicate professionally with employers/progression sources.

Within 6 months

- Health & Safety qualification: IOSH/NEBOSH/Ento D or equivalent

Desirable:

- IAG Level 3/4

- Experience of working with 16 - 18 year olds

- Outreach, sales, marketing or recruitment
