Durham

An international market-leader based in Durham are recruiting a Business Analyst (Integration) to work with customers to define requirements and ensure maximised software/systems integration, working effectively with in-house, external and 3rdparty resources.

You will represent IT and associated technology teams when in front of internal and external customers to ensure solutions that are promised to customers, are within capability, and can deliver the agreed benefits.

From the outset, the successful candidate will be working with development and support teams within an Agile environment to ensure integration between software & systems is executed successfully. Day to day the role will also support Bids / Tenders with external organisations and will carry out Data Analysis work as and when required.

You will be an integral member of the team working on the above as well as having opportunities to work on various other ongoing exciting projects coming into the IT Team. As you can see from the title of the role, experience working on software integration projects is essential.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Be equally effective communicating with IT stakeholders as you are with 'Business' stakeholders.
  • You will have good knowledge of Software Integration and relevant tools. Knowledge of EDI tools would be a huge advantage, but not essential.
  • You will be able to think logically and thrive at solving problems.
  • You will have experience working on multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
  • You should possess excellent communication skills allowing you to be able to interact successfully with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You should possess first-rate presentation skills, able to adapt your content to suit the stakeholders.
  • You will have knowledge of Project Management methodologies, specifically Agile.
  • You will have an appreciation of writing technical change requests

If of interest, please submit your CV in advance of a conversation with Joseph Bourton who is leading the recruitment.
