Assistant Business Analyst - Banking / Strategy & Design

Key accountabilities
  • Support the Business Design manager in identifying improvement opportunities across the Retail division and delivery of positive improvement which will support the customer and colleague experience and cost stretch.
  • Work as part of the wider Strategy and Design team, championing the customer agenda, focusing ourselves and others on what really matters, and role modelling new ways of working such as behavioural experiments, and agile ways of working.

  • Highly analytical; able to assimilate data and deliver clear and concise insights
  • Works well with ambiguity; can help to create options and answers where they don't currently exist
  • A skilled relationship builder; comfortable engaging stakeholders
  • Natural curiosity; enjoys exploring new subjects and pushing beyond the original question to unearth key business and industry insights and identify improvements
  • Able to lean into complex problems; applies structure and logic to breakdown problems into discrete and solvable pieces
  • A commercial thinker; using business knowledge and experience to see commercial opportunities across a range of topics
  • Comfortable self-managing workload and multiple priorities
  • Able to demonstrate positivity and resilience under pressure
  • Self-motivated & driven with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines whilst remaining passionate and keeping the customer centric to our thinking
  • Proficient in Microsoft office packages

Please note, interviews will most likely be held end of next week at the Chester offices. The business may be flexible around some working from home, and the role will involve travel to different UK locations, dependant on projects.
