In a nutshell

We are looking for an inspiring and innovate Operations Manager to lead our Commercial Management sector. You will bring your experience of managing a team of people and experience of sales/business development and account management to deliver agreed business targets and build excellent relationships with clients.

About the role

You will be:
  • Deliver the agreed profitable growth and operation of the Leadership and Management provision in line with Lifetime's mission and vision
  • Manage and lead a team, both delivery and Programme Executives, to achieve the targeted Key Performance Indicators
  • Manage the performance and development of the team through effective coaching and robust performance management conversations including monthly 121s and bi annual performance reviews to maintain a high performing culture
  • Develop key relationships within designated accounts, ensuring that operational delivery is in line with client's expectations.
  • Maintain accurate reporting for the provision and ensure actions from client meetings are completed in a timely fashion
  • Support cross sector deliver of enhanced programmes through leading a team of technical trainers
  • Develop creative solutions that maximise business opportunities.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with business support teams and Operational teams to support the delivery of the required KPI's
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with external stakeholders to ensure the Management provision is delivered in line with Company standards

About you

We are looking for:
  • Proven experience of managing a team of people at a mid-management level within a target driven environment
  • Proven significant experience of sales/business development and account management
  • A pragmatic approach, with ability to add value in a commercial sense
  • Comfortable operating at Senior Management level
  • Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and self-motivation skills
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proven examples of being able to influence across an organisation
  • Proven ability to interpret, analyse and present complex data with actionable insight in a clear and accurate way easily understood by the client
