Our client is a sustainable, global, British lifestyle brand that supplies leading high street retailers and thousands of independent + online retailers worldwide. They have a huge focus on sustainability, with Eco-friendly products and packaging ensuring plastic is kept to an absolute minimum.

They are now seeking an Amazon product guru to join their merchandising and Ecommerce team. You will be at home with Amazon advertising and optimisation, (an Amazon) Vendor-Central pro and comfortable with numbers and algorithms.

Your role as Amazon & Marketplace Manager will include:
  • Drive, manage and grow the global Amazon platform and brand presence
  • Deliver to budgets and gross profit targets
  • Manage P&L including level of deductions
  • Attend meetings and liaise with Amazon (EU + US) staff
  • Communicate with vendor managers to strategies on profitability
  • Develop and oversee content to drive sales
  • Oversee Amazon case logs, resolving fulfilment barcoding and product set-up issues alongside customer service support
  • Manage brand registry
  • Upload new products & imagery and update existing listings where needed
  • Analyse and oversee cost proposals bulk order requests
  • Manage and schedule promotional proposals and deals
  • Work alongside inventory team to assist with stock management and forecasts
  • Analysis sales and identifying opportunities for growth, whilst being aware of marketplace competition
  • Monitor and resolve brand infringement, removing copies and counterfeits goods
  • Continuously develop and report on processes to resolve issues and productivity
  • Attend monthly sales meeting

The successful Amazon & Marketplace Manager will have:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role (must have Vendor experience, not just FBA/seller)
  • Solid experience of Advertising on Vendor Central
  • Excellent technical ability and a thorough understanding of the Amazon platform
  • Expert Excel skills
  • Commercial minded and highly analytical (comfortable with algorithms)
  • Ability to communicate and work alongside stakeholders and departments
  • A team player with a happy spirit - sense of humour a bonus!
