Our client based in Edenbridge are a company that are at the forefront of innovation, design and manufacture of high reliability connector technology and are looking for a Sales and Technical Support Manager to join their team.

The purpose of this role is to:
  • Provide internal and external customer with design-in support including assisting with cost and pricing estimates, design & process requirements, and value engineering
  • Assist in preparation, monitoring and maintenance of Sales Forecasts
  • Assist with Marketing, Exhibitions, Visitor convenience

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Support Customer Service and Customer on Sales, Progress and Tech enquiries
  • Work between Customer Service, Engineering and Production to ensure requirements and translated properly and completed in a timely manner.
  • To carry out Contract Reviews
  • Follows through on Programs, Project and Quotations
  • To Log the Quote and Order activity and hit rate. Review and monitor this information and provide recommendations on improvement
  • Conducts pricing analysis on competition and customers
  • To provide NBO / Oracle IT system support

For this role you would require the following:
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experienced Customer services professional with proven results in similar industry
  • Experienced in reading and understanding engineering drawings
  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists
  • A full UK driving licence

Salary - up to £40k
