A new IT organisation across North South Europe (NSE) has created an exciting challenge and opportunity.We are looking for a Finance Business Partner, working with the leadership team of Deloitte's IT function as they integrate 750+ people across 13 countries into a new single IT organisation that delivers increased value and service quality.

Deloitte's IT function in NSE is moving from multiple different local IT structures to a single regional team across 13 countries. Working as a single team will provide tremendous opportunities for our people as we streamline our IT platforms and ways of working, and leverage talent across the region to support the firm's growth agenda. But it's a time of change, which brings challenges too. The opportunity in this role is to own all finance aspects of the integration, acting as advisor to the IT leadership team, and as the bridge to local finance resources to make the integration a huge success. In parallel, the Finance Business Partner will play a central role in defining the new "business as usual", working in conjunction with NSE finance / Swift teams to define and operate new finance ways of working. Your role

The integration project for NSE IT is well underway, with leadership team in post and building plans for the next 4 years. The Finance Business Partner will work with these leaders to deliver the integration, and create a new NSE finance capability that underpins ongoing success.

  • Partner with the Business to understand business opportunities, challenges, and provide finance advice and solutions as the NSE ITS Integration progresses
  • Support integration / cost-savings initiatives to identify opportunities and validate savings
  • Define new reporting templates that help to provide visibility and control to IT leadership operating in new functional organisational structures
  • Liaise closely with HR and IT operational stakeholders to define new high value reporting
  • Provide financial advice and analysis to IT Services leaders on areas such as investment and capital expenditure planning, business cases, financial models, staffing and business shape
  • Review monthly results and providing finance insights to performance packs and other MI
  • Own key processes and standards to drive ongoing improvement and consistent best practice
  • Implement strategic initiatives to implementation and realisation of benefits
  • Work closely with NSE country Financial controllers to further develop and spread financial acumen throughout the IT function enabling enhanced decision making
  • Create a sustainable cost framework for the NSE IT function
  • Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
  • Develop trust and build strong relationships with practitioners

Work pattern:

This is apermanent contract opportunity.

The role can beworked on a full-time basis with a minimum of four days (80% presence) a week.

Your professional experience

  • Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experienced in Business Partner roles
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the key factors which influence business performance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; developing strong relationships all levels of staff and partners with ability to influence where required
  • Strong technical, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to drive change with experience of leading initiatives from concept to implementation
  • Energy and motivation; an enthusiastic and dedicated team player
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work on own initiative, and under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
