A Sales Executive is needed to join a world-leading exhibitions venue and international convention centre, based in London Docklands. Matching the nature of the venue, you can expect the role to be varied and busy with no day being the same.
Hosting over 300 events a year and welcoming over 4 million visitors from every corner of the globe, this leading venue boasts fully flexible event halls, conference & exhibition space, a multitude of meeting rooms and the UK's largest flexible auditorium. Due to ongoing success we are now seeking a Sales Executive to join our Exhibitions Sales Team.
The Sales Executive will focus on new smaller business opportunities and will play a key role in developing existing accounts. The role holder will provide support to the senior sales team members by managing the sales administration process, handling incoming enquiries and responding to ‘reactive business'. Maximising ancillary revenue generation will also be an integral part of the Sales Executive opportunity.
To qualify. You should be a Sales Executive / Exhibitions Sales Executive / Business Development Executive / Exhibitions Sales Manager / Business Development Manager or similar who can demonstrate:
- Experience developing and executing corporate sales strategies with a solid track record in managing a portfolio of corporate business;
- A solid track record of business development experience from both new and existing clients;
- Proficient user of the full Microsoft Office suite, experience using databases to manage accounts.
- A degree level of qualification would be desirable as well as events industry knowledge.
