Yes, I know the word disruptive can be thrown about with ease - but these guys put some weight behind the word as they're changing the processes, we use find holiday homes, in a big way.

You'll be comfortable moving into environments with smaller design teams and helping to push them to the forefront of the company, through both compelling and validated design solutions. More importantly, you will have worked in a few B2C environments, giving you a good grasp on how to design for the customer as opposed to the internal stakeholder.

Must haves:
  • 5-6 years' experience as a Product Designer working within a user-focused environment
  • Evidenced experience working with big and small datasets and design insights to better inform your design solutions
  • You are an outstanding communicator with experience leading workshops and brainstorming solutions with internal and external stakeholders as this will be a key requirement of the role
  • You are comfortable with being a hands-on designer who leads from the front. You will have a portfolio of work that demonstrates your journey through design with the ability to lead from example
  • You're not shy. As you'll be joining a young organisation it's vital you can contribute your design thinking and treatments from day one on the job.

  • Managing the design team by providing support and guidance, as well as insight onto deliverable timescales
  • Oversight and direction of the entire product lifecycle, either as a responsible or actionable stakeholder
  • Conducting user research, testing, surveys, usability studies and other research to suit whatever product or implementation you're working on
  • Managing the companies design library and working with the wider product team to update the system on an ongoing basis
  • Highlighting technical issues and limitations of the platform and working within a squad to deliver designs that overcome these limits.
