Job Title: Travel Coordinator / Administrator
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset (own transport required due to location)
Salary: £17.5k DOE
Hours: 35 hours a week, 1 hour for lunch

Our client is the fastest growing Travel Company in the area and they are currently in the process of expanding their support team. You will be part of a small but growing team of customer service, administration and support managers who are all responsible for looking after customers in this online travel business.

Candidates must have previous customer service experience along with strong administration skills and a high level of attention to detail.

  • Your role will be helping the team with sending schedule changes, notifications, tickets balance reminders and other tasks, along with general office administration duties
  • Verifying bookings processed by Travel Consultants
  • Supporting Travel Consultants and their customers when required
  • Type up letters and emails, answer and make telephone calls

Essential Requirements:
  • At least one years' experience working within a customer service or call centre type role
  • At least one years' administrative experience due to the level of details and skills required for the role
  • Travel experience would be an advantage, but not necessary
  • Highly motivated
  • Great communicator with excellent verbal and written English skills
  • High attention to detail
  • IT Literacy

Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and 10am - 6pm alternate Rota basis
  • Saturdays - with 1 day off in the week. 9am - 5pm again Rota based
  • Evening support which is 1 evening a fortnight (work from home)
  • Sunday afternoon (10am-4pm) is emergency support, and classed as on call- again from home. If you do work a Sunday, you are given a day off in the week, and are not scheduled to work an evening shift in the 14 day period around the Sunday.

  • 50% commission on all personal bookings taken
  • Travel offered at cost price
  • Trips abroad with colleagues & suppliers for business
