Contract Type
Full Time
Do you want to work for an award-winning charity? Could you support people with learning disabilities, helping them with fun activities in the community?

We are currently recruiting staff to join our bank of Relief Support Workers in our supported living service in Sevenoaks, Kent.

About the role

Relief staff cover when regular staff are either on annual leave, sick, training or during other periods when we are short staffed. We organise the rotas one month in advance and try to ensure there is a good work-life balance. There is no obligation to accept work and if you haven't worked a shift within 3 months you will automatically drop off the Relief register. But its a great way to earn some extra money and maybe see if this is the career for you.

You will play a key part in assisting the people we support to live as independently as possible. You will join in with their favourite pastimes and hobbies, helping them be active members of their local community. The guys love producing their own newsletter, baking and cooking and getting involved in weight loss or health programmes.

We will provide you with full training and with day-to-day help and advice from Senior Support Workers and your Frontline Manager. You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive difference to someone's life.

About us
