My client are seeking a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant to join their experienced and growing team based in Oxford.

The ideal candidate should have excellent hands-on technical and interpersonal skills, be able to liaise internally and externally in non-technical terminology, have excellent organisational skills and a full UK Driving Licence. This is a great opportunity to join our dynamic team in a supporting capacity, the role will involve on the job training with our Pre-Sales Technical Consultant learning how to support business development and account management staff with technical aspects of the sales process.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Scope work effort required for penetration tests
• Attending pre-sales conference calls where clarification of the technical scope is required
• Attending onsite client pre-sales meetings to discuss technical requirements
• Delivering technical guidance to business development in regard to technical services provided
• Assessing potential risks presented in technical engagements
• Providing communication links between technical and business departments
• Creating and delivering presentations to existing and potential clients as required
• Assisting in the delivery planning process as required
• Transferring knowledge to allow sales team members to become more independent with less reliance on technical and pre-sales support

• Ability to understand complex technical projects
• Knowledge of information security
• Computer science degree or similar work experience
• You should also be enthusiastic with a can do attitude and be a good communicator.
